My name is Gareth young, I am 51 years old and have lived my whole life in Durham. In 1988 I started my apprenticeship as a bricklayer and served my time.

In 2004 I set up my own building company. As well as doing the actual building I also estimated plans, projected managed and worked alongside structural engineers to produce the clients desired project.

While running the company I developed an interest in Architecture and Computer Aided Design (CAD) and went on to study planning and building regulation compliance and eventually set up the company that is now called Bethell & Co Ltd.

Here at Bethell & Co we take a practical view to produce drawings using past and present site experience giving a more uniformed and symmetrical approach which not only looks better for the client but is also more practical for the contractor.
